We are coming toward the end of our study in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world.

Today we start the final section of the Sermon on the Mount, which deals with the assessment of a disciple in the kingdom of God. Today's passage, Matthew 7:13-20, brings us to a fork in the road. When it comes to Christ and His kingdom, these verses show us there are only two possible choices: two very different roads that lead to two very different destinations.
