Two Pints of Maggots & A Packet of Hooks - The Fishing Podcast

In the fifth episode of the second series, Dave talks to Sensas Starlets Captain and England Assistant Manager Darran Bickerton.

Whilst having "The big chat" Darran talks us through the evolution of his team fishing career, beginning as a junior with Derby and Tri-Star, to captaining the multi winning Daiwa Trentmen and then leaving to join and lead the mighty Starlets...representing them at national and world club level.

Darran got involved with the international set up in 2016 and has lead the England Under-23 team to Double gold and a plethora of coloured medals since. Now Darran assists with the full England squad and is about to head off to Italy for the 2021 world championship.

Could this big chat have been with the next England Manager? With the success Darran has had at team, individual and international level...I wouldn't bet against it.

In the press pack, Dave looks at the latest interesting stories in the angling press, along with the Tackle shed, giving thoughts on the latest bargains and any other new fishing items and bait that caught the eye.
