In this episode, we continue discussing the proposed measures on this year's Colorado ballot. We breakdown these hate-filled and deceptive amendments and propositions that we’re voting NO on. These ballot measures attack the working class, immigrants, our election systems, our environment and wildlife, and our children in Colorado. Voting NO on these harmful measures will protect the most vulnerable in our state, and we hope you vote NO on them too.

It’s that time of year again: Election Season! With the multitude of proposed amendments and propositions on the Colorado ballot this year, as two former social studies teachers we wanted to break them down to help our listeners understand what these ballot measures are asking voters. In this episode, we discuss why we are voting YES on these particular ballot measures, and why we think you should too. Stay tuned for Episode 6, where we will breakdown the other amendments and propositions we are voting NO on, and how much they will cause harm to the residents of Colorado and to our state. 

In Episode #4, we give an update on Colorado politics, the wins, and the progressive power built by these candidates and their campaigns. We discuss how our congressmen and congresswomen voted on the Massie Amendment, and how not to be fooled by their votes. Lastly, we talk about how the Denver Mayoral race is heating up, why we are supporting Dr. Lisa Calderón for Denver Mayor.

In this episode Genevieve and Rhiannon talk about the Juneteenth Festival, criticize dark money in the Colorado Primaries, and call the dinosaurs in power to the mat.

They give their recommendations on who to vote for and why, and remind listeners that the winners in November's election are actually decided in June, during the primaries.

Genevieve and Rhiannon discuss the most recent marches and rallies in the US

Tune in as Genevieve and Rhiannon discuss updates on the school closure discussed in previous episodes. Rhiannon attended a "Community Design Session" with her former colleagues, students, families, and the school district; and things got spicy! We then transition into advice on "What can I do in this moment"?
