Death Valley, Drive-By Shootings, and Halloween in Syracuse
The boys are back to discuss SU football, the origins of “Death Valley”, road rage and homophobia. Liv has a week that any NOLA sports fan would envy while Sanders struggles to stay awake during Cuse’s Friday night snoozefest at Clemson. The guys discuss their love of all things Halloween, their favorite costumes, their most memorable Hallows Eve triumphs, and most embarrassing fails…all of which apparently come at the expense of BP! Plus, Liv recounts his unfortunate encounter with a homophobic 90%er on the mean streets of New Orleans.
The boys are back after debilitating technical difficulties derailed last week’s efforts. The guys persevere to bring you their weekly installment of Syracuse themed tomfoolery and Orange flavored shenanigans. Liv updates Sanders on his efforts to furnish his house, provide optimal postcoital television viewing for the future Mrs. Liviccari, and satiate his hunger for homemade waffles. Sanders dishes a little dating advice and summarizes his thoughts on the future of televised entertainment. Plus, the boys struggle with the seemingly insurmountable task of breaking down the Back to the Future plot summaries.
SU Homecoming, High School Hazing, and Chuckie Cheese The boys are back with their usual brand Orange flavored shenanigans and hijinks. As Syracuse prepares for SU Homecoming weekend, the guys recall how they can’t really recall homecoming, but that doesn’t stop them from charting the parade route via Google Maps. Sanders breaks down the SU Homecoming Court nominees, while Liv breaks down the SU political scene of the mid-90’s. Sanders whips out a vintage Homecoming themed Top 10 list…and Liv chuckles. Plus, the guys outline the “highlights” of the Syracuse Film Festival, discuss the lowlights of football hazing in New Jersey, and question the wisdom of “zero tolerance.”
The boy are back for with their usual Orange-flavored shenanigans and intoxicating tomfoolery. This week they discuss the ups and downs of being a Syracuse Orange fan, home ownership, and graduating from an “almost Ivy League” school. After a week of home ownership Liv is exactly one antique table and two telescoping camping chairs closer to moving in, while Sanders spent his week dealing with disorderly tenants. Plus, the guys peruse the Daily Orange, give Oprah some Orange love, revisit the #1 Party School Ranking “controversy”, and and give props to perhaps the greatest Syracuse Orange alum ever…and no, we don’t mean Tom Everett Scott. If you are anything like us: you love your Orange; you love your Coors Light; and you love free stuff. So head over to iTunes or download the Stitcher app and subscribe to the Two Sorry ExCuses podcast. It don’t cost nothing!
The life & times of Syracuse Orange alumni The boys are back with their weekly installment of Syracuse-themed shenanigans and Orange-flavored tomfoolery. The guys discuss Liv’s new abode, his old neighborhood, and his future kitchen appliances. Sanders breaks out Google Maps in his never-ending quest to get his bearings. Plus, the fellas discuss the annual affair at Met Life Stadium featuring their beloved Syracuse Orange and the vaunted (?) Notre Dame Fighting Irish. During a spirited discussion, Liv shows his unbridled enthusiasm and Sanders is accused of being a self-loathing Orange.
In this week’s edition, the guys prepare for their paper anniversary, compare allergies, and outline the benefits of hitting rock bottom.
The boys get together for their weekly dose of shenanigans but accidentally stumble into an spirited conversation about 9/11, domestic violence, and hate speech. To lighten things up…Liv calls out Sanders for his Skype profile picture and not really having a job, and Sanders recounts how Joba Chamberlin ruined his marriage. Plus, the boys play a little SU name game that inadvertently (and apologetically) turns into a Tom Everett Scott bashing.
The boys are back to discuss Sanders’ new roomies, Liv’s real estate dealings, and less-than-ideal sleeping situations. The guys welcome back SU football (and their uniforms) with mixed emotions and look ahead to the SU/Notre Dame game. Plus Sanders and Liv critique the SU Hall of Fame selection process, champion Donovan McNabb’s inclusion, and ponder the fate of the No. 5.
The boys are back to discuss Sanders’ Caribbean vacation and Liv’s jury duty. Plus Sanders questions the abilities of blind ballerinas and Liv laments the passing of Robin Williams.
The boys are back in record time to discuss the highlights of BP’s appearance, breakdown even more summer wedding dress codes, and trumpet SU’s distinction of being named America’s #1 party school. Plus, the boys agree that the recipe for future podcasting success consists of equal parts Lee Zurich and middle-aged loneliness.
