Important Points:

Always keep growing, if this means going back to school as a mature student to reach your potential GO FOR IT.

Word of mouth and community connections are great ways to grow your business.

Keep learning and expanding your skills. This helps to serve your clients as well as to keep your practice fresh and interesting.

Your practice will change and grow over the years with you. If you need to slow down you can and you can build your practice up again when you are ready.

Important Points

If you move somewhere where there are no 'jobs' for your profession, it doesn't mean you are not in high demand.

Be creative with your training to fill the 'gap in service' your community has.

Approach other professionals in the area to start receiving referrals.

Don't be intimidated by the idea of approaching a local foundation for funding support.

You don't have to charge the client directly for your services, be creative!

Grow your business at your own pace, the only expectations you have to meet are your own :)
