Two True Freaks

In episode 197 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo continues his run through Season 4 of the Adventures of Superboy with a pair of really run episodes.

First, its another episode penned by the series chief villain, Lex Luthor as he creates a serum looking to boost his own intelligence, but things go haywire, literally. Were going to find Darlas going to get superpowers and then shes going to have some increased intelligence to go with it.

Whats Lex going to do? How is he going to cope with someone who seems to be as smart as he is? How will Lex handle it when “Darla Goes Ballistic”?

And then, were going to have some aliens coming to Earth from space. Combine that with some higher-ups drop in on the bureau and have all the bureau employees bickering with each other.

This episode features two very important special guest stars. Who are they? Youre going to have to listen to the episode and find out.

You doing OK over there, or are you feeling a bit of “Paranoia”?

Next time: Were going to delve into Lex Luthors origin story in the two-part “Know Thine Enemy”.
