Two True Freaks

LET CHRISTMAS BEGIN! Join Thomas Deja in his secluded North Pole Base as he subjects his subject Chris Honeywell to another GRINDHOUSE GREAT. Deja has also turned his terrible transporter beam on Honeywell's "Vault Of Startling Monster Horror Tales Of Terror" cohorts (Luke & Jason Jaconetti and Chris Tyler) for BLACK CHRISTMAS, a 1974 X-Mas slasher tale from the directorof Porky's and A Christmas Story. The Vault crew will repay the favor later this month and cover the unfortunate sequel! LET KRINGLE-NACHT BEGIN!

Yes indeed, contrary to popular opinion, Magnus is capable of releasing an episode where the words "Legion Of Super-Heroes" never escapes his lips. You wouldn't think so but it's true. Unfortunately, there's some heavy news which is weighing heavily upon His Excellency's heart in a heavy way...

With an acknowledgement to the Legion Of Super-Heroes, Magnus rants about continuity, reboots and retcons.

Welcome to Jaig Eyes & Jedi - a podcast covering the ENTIRETY of Star Wars - Rebels (FINALLY)! Join Hope Mullinax and Chris Honeywell as they start their coverage of REBELS by getting into some of the canon books and comics leading up to the show! In part I, Hope will be covering AHSOKA by E. L. Johnston! Get ready for some FEELINGS!

NEW OPENING! SAME OLD "CLASSINESS"

I'll see your "amphibian" monster, and raise you to "triphibian!" In this extremely etymological episode, we are taking a look at the lone diakaiju film from Nikkatsu, Gappa, The Triphibian Monster! When will people learn that abducting baby monsters and putting them on display in the middle of major urban centers is a bad idea? Evidently they need at least one more lesson. Then over in Marvel Godzilla #23, it's time for the big guns as the Avengers are called in to face Big G! Here's hoping he doesn't blast the Assemblers at point blank range with atomic breath! Nah... never happen! Plus news, emails, and a tribute to Stan "The Man" Lee all in this episode of Earth Destruction Directive!

There aren't many "Thanksgiving Movies", but Planes, Trains & Automobiles fits the bill. It's pretty much accepted as the best Thanksgiving movie, but Is It Jaws? Jason Jaconetti comes by to discuss this holiday favorite and place it up against the Jaws Scale. Listen in and see where it lands.

Scott and Bill are (everyone together now) ..... "On Assignment"! So, Nicholas Prom stops by to talk to Paul about this two part Superman story. It's the Bronze Age, but it feels oh so Silver Age-y!

Books Covered: Superman #387 (9/83) & Action Comics #547 (9/83)

Today, Magnus Lad is grateful for Legion Of Super-Heroes comics. Especially Legion Of Super-Heroes v4 #01. Happy Thanksgiving!

"Now let me get this straight. You're telling me that these, these things are inside the Golden Gate Bridge, one. Two, that they only come out at night. And three, that they're responsible for the death of fifteen or more kids and three of my police officers?"

On this special Thanksgiving episode of Bots, Bugs, and Babes; I am joined by my buddy and fellow podcaster Jonathan Inbody (X Meets Y Podcast) as we explore ... or survive?..... 1986's Neon Maniacs. We are pleased to join forces to bring this film to you. Not wanting to give too much away here, let's just say that you have to see this movie to believe it. Trust us. And remember, there are 12 reasons to be afraid of the dark....and everyone is killer!

It's Thanksgiving...well, here in the U.S. anyway. This time out I sit down to watch a Thanksgiving classic: Garfield's Thanksgiving!
