In episode 96 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo will unveil his penultimate episode covering the 1973 season of Super Friends.

Hes going to start by going underground. To where the water makes the trees and the rocks walk. To where the diamonds are guarded by heat and where you need air conditioners to “borrow them”.

Come learn the definition of stealing. Come check out the underground civilization as the Super Friends meet “The Mysterious Moles”.

Then were going to meet Dr. Gulliver. He has a solution to the worlds population troubles. Its the simple matter of shrinking the people because, why not? Smaller people take up less space and resources.

Watch as the Super Friends just stand around and allow themselves to be trapped, forcing them to call on the staunch member of the Justice League, who will only appear once in the show.

Who is it? Go, get your quiver and prepare to discover “Gullivers Gigantic Goof”.

Next time: Coverage of the 1973 Super Friends season will conclude with “The Planet Splitter” and “The Watermen”.
