  • 3rd Degree Byrne Episode 19: Fantastic Four #241
SPOILER WARNING: WE DISCUSS STAR TREK DICCOVERY, STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI AND THOR RAGNAROCK!
Its a shiny brand new 3rd Degree Byrne!! And as we get ready for the coming of the “Black Panther” movie by Marvel next week, we cant help but think what if Hooper X from “Chasing Amy” could introduce the movie?
Borrowing heavily from Kevin Smith, It would sound something like this:
“The hero's name is TChalla, and he's a descendant from the black tribe that established the first society on the planet, while all you European motherf@#$ers were still hiding in caves and s@#t, all terrified of the sun. He's a strong role model that a young black moviegoer can look up to.”
That is our subject today, The Black Panther. So get your favorite drink out, sit back and enjoy as Tim Elliott and Brian Hughes look at John Byrnes contributions to the legend of TChalla, Wakandas own Black Panther.
We cover two stories today, as The Panther had a team up with X-Mens Storm (Which years later brought them together in brief, but wedded bliss) and a team up with The Fantastic Four.
Tim and Brian also spend time catching up and talking movies and TV, like that recent entry into the Star Wars saga or the new Star Trek series and maybe a little Ragnarock. Spoilers abound so be warned.

  • Episode 238- Magnus Talks About Smallville- Season 06 Part 02- Free to be Super
In this week's Smallville-talking episode, Magnus talks about Smallville season 06, Smallville's shippiest season.
Why is this referred to as Smallville's shippiest season? Well, a lot of the reasons start getting laid out in this week's batch of episodes. Speaking of which, this week's batch of episodes are Reunion, Fallout, Rage and Static.
Big doings going on here. Major conflicts and story points for this season are either established or else reinforced in these shows as Smallville ventures into completely new territory.
So what are you waiting for? Start listening right away or the ghost of Duncan will drop a gargoyle on you or something.
Due to the avalanche of awesomeness, there's just no time for listener feedback this week. But Magnus has slowly been getting caught up lately. There's been some feedback recently and there's more coming soon! So don't be left out! You too can offer your feeble effort at tribute whenever you want! Yes indeed, you humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is [email protected] as the other seems to be having technical problems.
In an another sublime act of truly awe-inspiring magnanimity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, requests may be sent to [email protected] for the aforementioned corrupt DiManzocorp interns (who probably lack souls) to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!
