Two True Freaks

Gathering forces from both THE RESISTANCE and THE FIRST ORDER, Mindless Drivel brings you a roundtable discussion about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Hurling their opinions into the cold of space, Scott McGregor, David Pascarella, Dario Gonzalez, Pat Delmore and Chris Tyler, The Hairy Wookie Metal Hero, cover the gamut of emotions about this polarizing chapter in the new trilogy. Was it a worthy follow up to The Force Awakens or a purposeful deconstruction of what JJ Abrams set up? Are some of our podcasters experiencing “Get off my spaceship” syndrome or will they embrace a new trilogy for a new generation? Did it meet expectations, leave them running away on a casino planet or smash them to pieces like a light speed ramming attack? All of these answers or some of them, depending on your point of view, will be revealed in this podcast! Come to the Drivel side, we have monster cookies and fresh alien sea cow milk!

"Naughty, naughty! Don't touch, Butch knows best. They're something new from Gay Paree."

On this epiosde of Bots, Bugs, and Babes, my father (Al Jaconetti) and I cover the 1973 Vincenmt Price cult classic Theater of Blood. We celebrate the 45th anniversary of the film, as we delve into all the different aspects of the production and the behind the scenes information that makes this a great ride. We will also talk more Shakepeare than any other epsiode of Triple B thus far! Put on your tights and call the Stage Manager and join us as we get soime culture!

In this week's safe-computing episode, Magnus continues Cover Date: 1991 with some chit-chat about Punisher War Journal #26. Specifically, how weird this issue is.

No, really. It's weird!

Honestly, you should all be happy this show is even coming out today. You see, boys and girls, Magnus had to go home early from work due to illness. But only to work from home in the event this gunk is contagious. The end result? Working more hours than probably would've been worked after all. What a world...

But anyway. So the whole point of Cover Date: 1991 is getting a taste of what comics were like back in 1991. Were they bad? Great? Somewhere in between? Were they Punisher War Journal #26-tier weird? This megaseries attempts to figure that out. At least somewhat.

But there's more! In order for you lowly serfs to get into a proper 1991 frame of mind, there's more discussion about some songs from 1991. This should fit in well with other episodes that have been released lately, right?

So what more do you need? Start listening right now before Grodd sics a pack of wild animals on you.

Due to the avalanche of awesomeness, there's just no time for listener feedback this week. But Magnus has slowly been getting caught up lately. There's been some feedback recently and there's more coming soon! So don't be left out! You too can offer your feeble effort at tribute whenever you want! Yes indeed, you humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is [email protected] as the other seems to be having technical problems.

In an another sublime act of truly ball-shriveling magnanimity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, requests may be sent to [email protected] for the aforementioned corrupt DiManzocorp interns (who probably lack souls) to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

You remember last week when Hope Mullinax and Chris Honeywell began their 100TH EPISODE of Jaig Eyes & Jedi? Well buckle up, because IT AIN'T OVER! This week they WRAP IT ALL UP with their last 3 guests - Hope's high school pal - BRIAN WEBBER, Squeaky voiced - teen PATRICK DELMORE of the Next Generation's First Generation Podcast and finally GENE GENE (THE PODCASTING MACHINE) HENDRICKS! It's a nice WARM-UP for our next 100 episodes!

Star Wars is back and so is Scott Ryfun! The Last Jedi is tearing things up in the box office and Paul talks to one of his Star Wars go-to-guys, Scott Ryfun. What did they think of Episode VIII? Listen in and find out.

It's been a little while, but we haven't forgotten The Order. This week, Bill and Paul take a look at issue #4 of The Order. It's once again time to Order Up!!

Andrew and Micheal are back!

NOTES: SPOILERS ALL THE WAY THROUGH for THE LAST JEDI, BLADE RUNNER 2049, DR WHO - TWICE UPON A TIME and everything else we talk about.

Samira Ahmed is a respected journalist and broadcaster who I quite like when I've seen her. She is not A MAN as I keep referring to her in this show!

Andrew revisits 80's phenomena THE A-TEAM, discussing why the series is a live action cartoon, behind the scenes shenanigans and best episodes. I pity the fool that don't listen!

Have you ever read Milton? Well, neither have your hosts, but this time out they're talking Paradise Lost, the second part of a look at the effect of the dominion on earth. Give it a listen.

In today's rambling episode, Magnus gabs about egg nog, lousy weather, trips to the vet and the Fanboy Muse.

Oh, and there's some talk about Star Trek too, if you like that sort of thing.
