Welcome to Jaig Eyes & Jedi - a podcast covering the entirety of Star Wars - The Clone Wars! This week your hosts Hope Mullinax and Chris Honeywell climb in THE BOX, the 17th episode of season 4! There will be - JUMBOTRON DOOKU - SCOUNDREL COOPERATION - BORG DEATH STAR - NOT GREEDO - EMBO! - HAT HOARDING - FLOATING TENTACLE PORN - YODA HITS A NEW LOW AND MORE!

In this week's ball-exploring episode, Magnus has been going through a Star Trek binge bigly. And it's like anything, this podcast is the dumping ground for the meanderings of His Excellency's fanboy muse.

The binge has taken the form of a crapton of TOS episodes and also a bunch of DC Trek comics. Specifically, and as it relates to this week's ball-exploring episode, Star Trek vol. 02 #01, by Peter David and James Fry.

Magnus had never read any TOS-era comics before so this was a new experience. And even though your wise leader is a bit of a neophyte Trek fan, it so happens that there's quite a lot to say about Star Trek #01. Not least because this was the first time reading a Peter David Star Trek story and it didn't disappoint!

So what else is there to say? Start listening right now or else some Nasgulian warlord will pronounce a death sentence upon you. Or, y'know, whatever.

Due to the avalanche of awesomeness, there's just no time for listener feedback this week. But Magnus has slowly been getting caught up lately. There's been some feedback recently and there's more coming soon! So don't be left out! You too can offer your feeble effort at tribute whenever you want! Yes indeed, you humble serfs are always welcome to kiss your benevolent leader's ring. Corrupt DiManzocorp interns are ready, willing, able and eager to accept your bribe to present your meager missives to your wise emperor. The email address to use is [email protected] as the other seems to be having technical problems.

In an another sublime act of truly ball-shriveling magnanimity, your emperor permits you lowly rabble to suggest topics for a future episode. Thus, requests may be sent to [email protected] for the aforementioned corrupt DiManzocorp interns (who probably lack souls) to review, whereupon your leader might consider thinking about the possibility of potentially discussing whatever you have in mind some day. And that's a promise!

In episode 80 of The Man of Screen Podcast, Mike Zummo will begin his coverage of Season 2 of The New Adventures of Superman and The Adventures of Superboy, both by Filmation.

First Mike will go into an introduction of the second season and the format change made by the producers, which included folding the Superman and Superboy stories into the Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. So in addition to the Superman and Superboy shows, there also will be Aquaman and various other DC Universe-related superhero shorts, including the Justice League of America, but more on that in a future episode.

First, Superman will come face-to-face with his greatest nemeses in “A.P.E. Strikes Again”, Superboy will meet “The Beast with Two Faces” and then Superman will discover the mystery surrounding “The Lethal Lightning Bug”.

Then in our second segment, Superman will meet “The Prankster” and they will fight over who has the better sense of humor. Superboy and Lana Lang will meet “The Gorilla Gang” and Superman will face “The Saboteurs”.

Next time: The next four Superman segments, “The Wisp of Wickedness”, “Superman Meets His Match”, “Night of the Octopod” and “Brainiacs Bubbles”.

Sometimes, Dave throws out a perfectly sensible, and well-thought episode in lieu of a science experiment. While podcasting has ruined comics that he previously loved, can it redeem a comic that he previously hated?

This leads Dave to begin a six part series covering DAREDEVIL: FATHER, a Joe Quesada mini-series that explores the themes of... fathers.Actually, it is a treatise on legacies, and an exploration of the basic building blocks of a man who lives on the razor's edge between the law, and being a superhero- that man is Matt Murdock. Will Dave make it through all six issues, or will he rage-quit the series and cover some Gene Colan Daredevil instead? Find out in this very episode by downloading now.
