Andrew, Bill and Paul Listen in as the Prophets talk about Gul Dukat's Bajoran Love Child!

Didn't feel like posting anything on Monday. Didn't feel like posting anything today either. At least, not originally. But then I noticed that the next episode was going to be about The New Adventures Of Superboy. Who can resist not posting new episodes about Superboy right?

And that's that. I'm going for dinner now.

In episode 74 of the Man of Screen podcast, Mike Zummo will cover the next four episodes of “The New Adventures of Superman” and the next two episodes of “The Adventures of Superboy.”

Our hero is going to be harassed my magnetism in “The Magnetic Monster” and then its going to be all-out war with a familiar foe from the comics in “Toys of Doom.” Then things will get even more metallic as Superman looks for a “suspicious character” that could only be “The Iron Eater”. And then its time for some monkey business as Lois and Superman take a trip to Brazil where they encounter an archaeologist that gets his bell rung and “The Ape Army of The “Amazon”.

But dont forget our trip back in time to when Superman was a boy as he and Krypto forget to close the hole behind them and get “The Visitor from the Earth Core” and then a professor will try an experiment and turn an innocent elephant into “The Beast That Went Berzerk”.

Next time: The next four Superman episodes, “ The Fire Phantom”, “The Deadly Dish”, “Insect Raiders” and “Return of Warlock” and the next two Superboy episodes, “Superboys Strangest Foe” and “The Capricious Crony”.

Andrew suddenly got an urge to read THE INCREDIBLE HULK 1-6 from 1962 and have a look and why this character didn't originally find an audience. Along the way there are ponderings on why no-one cared that Banner had blonde hair, politics in super heroes and the uselessness of Rick Jones. Fun for all.
