Many portable handheld walkie talkies, and even a few mobiles, include a feature called VOX. We often get questions related to VOX, and how it can be used with two way radios for specific and sometimes unusual purposes. There are some myths and misconceptions about this feature as well as assumptions about its use as a possible solution for certain applications.
