Eastside Youth Content Creators program, cordially known as EYCCP has greatly impacted the lives of 2023 cohort members, Jireh White and Autumn McKinney. Since departing from the program, they have obtained internships, joined organizations, and have even solidified their passions. These are only two of the students greatly influenced by EYCCP, and it is important to recognize the program’s vitality in a San Antonio, Texas, community that does not often offer such opportunities to high school students.

Tanya Walker, Founder and CEO of Black Women Who, inspires Black women to embrace nature and outdoor activities. Because Black Texans do not regularly participate in such pastimes, her leadership directly impacts the future of Black women, encouraging them to become avid hikers, kayakers, and more.
