All intelligent beings are pattern seekers, and since all possible combinations of patterns seem to be tried by the laws of nature, whatever pattern we decide to look for in our reality we will be able to find more often than we would if we weren’t looking to find it! That’s not just because all possible patterns are tried in reality, but also because patterns are fractal, and so if we start looking for a simple pattern, we’ll start recognizing it in all sorts of other patterns, both simple and complex, as we move our focus closer or further away.
So… consider what would you like to see more of in your life, then start consciously seeking it out, using the most appropriate measuring tools and tactics to find such a thing, and you’ll likely find more of it, naturally.
(For more about why it’s likely that all possible patterns get tried, see the previous two podcast episodes on Entropy, Randomness, Evolution, Free Will, Determinism, and What Life is All About (Pascal’s Triangle))
