Tyler Geis’ Basement

Today on the show I welcome my good friend, Chris Jones. The history of the blues music and his love for it is discussed in todays show. And since I am new to vinyl record collecting, Chris tells me about some of his favorites in his own collection.

On today's show, we welcome KT Baldassaro. She is what we call a "triple threat" as a writer, Director and Actor. We do the typical talk about our early inspirations but then we end up going deeper into the days of video store rentals, public television in NYC that played horror films, character actors, post Covid acting work and many many more topics.

Filmmaker, Douglas Maxwell Myer is here today. In this episode we do our usual talk about the things that have inspired us creatively, but we also do a deep intellectual dive into some remarkable usages of music in movies. I learn a few things from Doug about how he views the usage of these songs on screen.  There's also a plug for Doug's new short film, "Keys to the Soul".  Link to it is below, check it out!

On today's show we welcome, Lorrie Bacon to the basement. Lorrie's acting journey has brought her from west coast to east coast. On the show today we talk the early days of her career, her husband purposing to her right before an audition, her role in my award winning short film, "Melvin", women in film. And last but not least she's got a new horror film coming out.
