91 Vintage has been the go to market for vintage sportswear and streetwear in Melbourne for the last 5 years. The iconic market was founded by Bonny, who lovingly ran 91 Vintage for 5 years. This year, she handed over the keys to Jonathan Chai, who now runs Melbourne best vintage market and in my opinion Australia's best market.
In the summer of 2010, two brothers built a bespoke garment workshop in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
Originally an Art Studio and Gallery created as support for new artists, The Snake Hole was hosting gigs and art shows long before it was a brand. Beginning with small runs of t-shirt prints to accompany some art shows, the garments quickly became the forefront, and since 2016 the label has been independently run by creatives. From humble beginnings working out of the back of a shipping container and a basement, to occupying a warehouse and a small team, the brand has come a long way from where it once started.
