To pump or not to pump? Sami and Ginger have both tried insulin pumps in the past — for many years, actually! Today, they both do MDI (multiple daily injections) of rapid-acting, long-acting, and inhaled insulin.

Here's what we don't love about pumping and why maybe Sami should give an automated insulin delivery (AID) system a try when the time is right.

Anaerobic exercise can be a little tricky and confusing. If your heart is pounding, why isn't your blood sugar dropping like it does during a 2-mile jog? It's all about a combination of lactic acid, adrenaline, and cortisol.
