If you conduct a quick search for the “top” intellectuals of our time, chances are the internet has a different set of criteria to crates its list than you do, which is somewhat puzzling. All intellectuals are intelligent, but not all those who are intelligent are intellectuals.

The world is full of intellectual people who might never make a “top” list and whose work and words constantly go unnoticed by the masses, but why is that?
