Dutch based DJ and Producer artist that I have been a keen follower of for a long time now , and he seems to have that Midas touch in both his own musical productions and the numerous DJ sets he has put together over the last few years (be sure to check his page as there are some beautiful sounds to be discovered)

About ION:

Giannis A. Papaioannou aka ION is a Greek composer, music producer, and sound designer.

Active in local discography since 1985, his participation in bands such as Rehearsed Dreams, Spider’s Web, Raw, ION as well as the record productions of Elfish Records (1991-1995) establish him as one of the most active figures in the Greek independent scene.

In his solo sound explorations, he turns the laptop into a musical instrument and portable studio, which drives a chain of analog and modular synthesizers while as ION he has managed to create a very deep and personal sound: some original mix rich in minimalist allusions, ambient industrial drones, and dub-techno rhythmic precision.

His works have been presented in famous venues such as the Athens Concert Hall, the Onassis Foundation House, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and the Benaki Museum and have played in dozens of festivals in Greece and abroad. He has composed and performed original new soundtracks for two silent classic films, Nosferatu (1922) and The Great White Silence (1924) which were commissioned by the Athens International Film Festival.

At the same time, Giannis Papaioannou is the founder and producer of the industrial group Mechanimal, which is still active today and continues to receive thrilling reviews in local and international press for its audiovisual action. In 1993 he started writing in the fanzine “In the Shadows of B-23” and a year later, now professionally, he wrote articles in 01 Magazine. This was followed by many collaborations with magazines, publications and newspapers. He was the editor-in-chief of the magazines 01, Oxy, Men, Nitro Elite, Speed, Homme, Chronos Oro and the daily TV show Hackers. He loves photography, technology and synthesizers. He dreams that one day is getting lost in the birch forest and staying there forever.

About Zisis D:

Zisis Dadalis aka ZISIS D was born in Larisa GR in 1980.

From his childhood had interesting to music technology, music machines and to music in general.

In the age of 14 had his first radio show and was working as a sound engineer in newsprint radio shows. After that was working as Dj at local cafes, bars and clubs. The choice of the tracks and his technique on the mix elevates the mood of the public. This continues until today.

At 2005 he started experimenting in music technology and on the production of electronic music.
