Even after years of mindset work, Dr. Lee still finds her brain trying to fuck shit up when things start going too well. 

In this short, solo episode (recorded in the bathtub because why not), Dr. Lee shares five “both/and” truths to help you move through the moment when your brain tries to fuck you up. These “both/and” statements may seem to be in opposition, but it is possible for both to be true at the same time.  Dr. Lee shares her process of using these 5 truths to get her mindset back on track when she’s feeling a bit fucked up.

The Five Truths

  1. It all matters a lot, and nothing really matters at all.
  2. We are capable of so much less than we think, and capable of so much more than we believe.
  3. Life is not to be taken so seriously, and you should take your life seriously.
  4. We need to not listen everyone’s opinions, and we need to listen when others tell us we’re fucking up.
  5. Trust your gut, and question everything that your brain tells you.

Hopefully, these five truths move you toward a healthier relationship with your own thoughts. Even if the only thing you take away from this episode is an understanding that two conflicting things can both be true, you’ll be moving in the direction of a better life.
