    Today we are honored to have a distinguished guest with us, Mr. James E. Clarkson, a seasoned police detective with over thirty years of experience. Not only has he dedicated his career to law enforcement, but he has also ventured into Ufology.

    As the former State Director of the Mutual UFO Network in Washington State, James has collaborated closely with notable researchers in the field, including Peter Davenport, Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, and William Puckett, the Director of UFOSNW. Despite the common media perception that those involved in Ufology are mere enthusiasts, James emphasizes the serious academic and professional credentials that many in the field hold.
    James expresses his pride in serving Ufology and championing the public's right to knowledge. Today, he joins us on UAPSP to delve into his extensive investigations and experiences, particularly focusing on two compelling events discussed in his books.
    James is the author of "TELL MY STORY: June Crain, the Air Force & UFOs" and "Westport UFO Crash Retrieval Event."

    The latter book explores the mysterious incident that occurred in Grays Harbor County on November 25, 1979. A fiery object fell from the night skies, prompting military intervention that included blocking logging roads at gunpoint to keep residents away.

    James, drawing on his background as a retired police sergeant and seasoned researcher, shares the known details of this perplexing event and the lingering questions that surround it.

    Joining us as a distinguished guest is none other than Robert Powell, a founding Board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU). Alongside our insightful tenure co-host, Michael Glawson, we dive deep into the scientific exploration of UAPs and the fascinating work of Mr. Powell.


    Robert Powell boasts an impressive resume in the field of UAP research. With a decade-long tenure as the Director of Research at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) from 2007 to 2017, he was pivotal in advancing our understanding of these enigmatic phenomena. He created MUFON's Science Review Board in 2012, ushering in a more scientific and systematic approach to UAP investigations.


    Robert's contributions to UAP studies are substantial. He is one of the two authors of the comprehensive radar/witness report on the infamous "Stephenville Lights" incident, shedding light on one of the most puzzling UAP encounters in recent history. He co-authored the SCU report titled "UAP: 2013 Aguadilla, Puerto Rico," providing valuable insights into another intriguing UAP incident.


    During our conversation, Robert Powell delves into his recent work, serving as the primary author of the groundbreaking paper, "A Forensic Analysis of Navy Carrier Strike Group Eleven’s Encounter with an Anomalous Aerial Vehicle." We also explore his contributions to the scholarly world, including his role as a secondary author of an article in the journal Entropy titled, "Estimating Flight Characteristics of Anomalous Unidentified Aerial Vehicles."
