In the village of Markhalivka, Kyiv region, the night turned into chaos as Russian missiles hit residential areas. Three houses were completely destroyed, two more caught fire. One civilian was killed on the spot, eight others were injured — including a child.

According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, the total toll across the Kyiv region is now 4 dead and 16 injured, including three children. In the capital, Kyiv, 11 more people were wounded due to the attack.

These were not military facilities. These were ordinary homes. People were sleeping, getting ready for another peaceful day — but woke up to explosions, fire, and screams.

Russia’s tactic remains brutally clear: target civilians, strike where families live, and try to break Ukraine’s spirit through terror. But we are still standing. And the world must see — this is not just war. This is the systematic targeting of peaceful people.
