Join us as Jen interviews Dr. Jeffrey Robinson and Dr. Wes Halderman in this first medical mission highlight on Stories from the Field, focusing on UBC’s recent medical missions to Paraguay.
Jeffrey Robinson
Dr. Robinson is an ER physician, Cedarville University PA faculty member, and missions advocate. Driven by his love for Jesus and medicine, he is dedicated to global health and training the next generation of providers. A devoted husband and father of three, Dr. Robinson’s life is anchored by his family; he still claims his wife left him breathless the moment they first met. An avid soccer fan, he enjoys the simple (sometimes chaotic) rhythms of family life and a good cup of coffee.
Wes Halderman
Dr. Halderman is a Family Medicine physician and medical educator who seeks to live out his Christian faith through patient care, teaching, and his calling as a husband and father. He serves in leadership roles as Associate Program Director and Rural Pathway Director at Kettering Health, where he is deeply committed to mentoring and forming young physicians. Dr. Halderman serves as a deacon at UBC. Wes has been married to his beautiful wife, Abby, for 16 years, and together they are raising their four young children. In his free time, Wes enjoys good coffee, listening to history podcasts, and hiking with his family.
Jen Hart (Host)
Jen is a full-time LPCC-S serving students at Cedarville University (2022) and works part-time as an administrative assistant for UBC's Missions and Mercy Ministry (2024). She aims to offer hope and healing through biblical and practical life tools. Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, Glen, of 26 years, and four sons: Ethan, Sawyer, Owen, and Hudson, along with their daughter-in-law, Anna.
