we are officially in the second half of 2026.

in this episode, i'm pressing into one idea that has been anchoring me: silence and solitude. Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to be with His Father, and if He did it often, how much more should we? i pull it through Luke 5:16 and Psalm 139, because you cannot hear God's voice, know who He is, or know who you are apart from time with Him.

we get into why silence and solitude feels like the opposite of everything social media trains us to do, what it means to tether your peace of mind to the character and faithfulness of God instead of people, events, or circumstances, and why Psalm 139 is one of the most intimate chapters in scripture, showing the omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence of God.

we are almost halfway through 2026. and that hit different.
