Greetings everyone, I am @Udygold and it's yet another week of the Open Mic contest and I am thrilled to be a part of it.

For this week, I'll be doing a cover of the song "Oceans" by Hillsong Music. When I first saw the prompt for this week, I had so many things running through my mine and one outstanding things is that this earth (world) that we are is not our home. We are just strangers passing through it and someday we'll be called up yonder to give an account of the life we've lived. The big question is Are we ready?

The chorus of this song says it all, we'll be led home by his spirit to a place of clam and Solace, where our feet will no longer wander, a place where our faith in God will grow stronger without the persecution of the world. I pray that on that day, we'll be ready to meet him and be ready to get home to paradise 🙏

We live in a world that God is our ultimate anchor, hope and perfect friend and without God, everything ends up being a total mirage.

For me, this song is a reassurance and promise that my heart will constantly yearn and desire God as a friend and as a present help in time of need.
