  • VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK 11 _ Acover by @udygold.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=udygold/nfsdbmvb
Greetings to everyone on this amazing platform. It’s yet another exciting week and I must say that I have enjoyed beautiful songs done by the amazing participant we have here. To our amazing @lordbutterfly, you rock all the way.
For this week, I’ll be doing the cover of the Afro-beat version of the song “control” originally sung by "Tenth avenue north."
I have so many reason for chosing this very song but I’ll briefly talk about one. Few months ago, my Mother was very ill and we decided to just sing spirit lifting songs while praying and trusting God for her recovery and one of those times we were singing, my brother raised this song and the harmony was heavenly. My mum enjoyed the song and would always want us to sing it to her every time. I suddenly got so attached to this song perhaps because my Mum loved it and because it allows us give God the totality of our being.
There’s nothing as beautiful as asking God to be incharge of our lives. The Bible admonishes us to “cast all our case and burden unto God” because he cares for us. As such, why should I deprive him from having control over me?
It is so sweet to trust in Jesus and to rest upon his promises because he won’t go back on his words.
    The lyrics:
    Here I am,
    All my intentions
    All my obsessions
I wanna lay them all down
    In your hands
    Only your love is final
    No. I’m not entitled
Still you call me your child
    Lord you don’t need me
    But somehow you want me
    Oh how you love me
Somehow that frees me to take my hands off my life
And the way it should go
    Lord you don’t need me
    But somehow you want me
    Oh! how you love me
Somehow that frees me to open my heart lord
    And give you control.

  • AFRI-TUNES #114 - Cover of "Taking care of me by @Udygold.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=udygold/vwzqvycf
Greetings to every amazing member of the @Afri-tunes community. I am @Udygold and I count it a privilege to be a part of this week competition.
African music and rhythm never gets old or boring and I love that there's a community where we can enjoy the African groove and music seamlessly.
I chosen "Taking care of me" a song originally done by a Nigerian Gospel Artist "Moses Bliss ft Mercy Chinwo".
I love singing this song because on daily basis I see how God takes care of me and my family at large. It has not been a rollercoaster of event for us lately and being self-sponsored in school, I have seen the finger of God in way I never envisaged.
There are times I feel like all is lost, I'll cry myself to sleep sometimes but despite all of this, I affirm that Jesus is taking care of me.
Most times, we need to listen to what other people's story so that it could stir up a need to be grateful to God. My assurance is that when there's life, there's hope and one day what we prayed for , will be what we'll testify about.
Moses Bliss and Mercy Chinwo are two phenomenal Nigerian Gospel Artist that you can't help but love. Their song and the rhythm gives the vibe that you can't ignore.
I hope you enjoy the cover and above all that it blesses you.
    The Lyrics:
    Ayo-yo
    Ayo, ayo-ayo-ayo-yo
    Ayo, ayo-ayo-ayo-yo
    He's taking care of me

  • Hive Open Mic Week 214 - A Cover of "Oceans" by @Udygold.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=udygold/nihpdjsa
Greetings everyone, I am @Udygold and it's yet another week of the Open Mic contest and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
For this week, I'll be doing a cover of the song "Oceans" by Hillsong Music. When I first saw the prompt for this week, I had so many things running through my mine and one outstanding things is that this earth (world) that we are is not our home. We are just strangers passing through it and someday we'll be called up yonder to give an account of the life we've lived. The big question is Are we ready?
No matter how we shy or run away from this the truth remains that everyday brings us closer to either our grace or the day of reckoning.
The chorus of this song says it all, we'll be led home by his spirit to a place of clam and Solace, where our feet will no longer wander, a place where our faith in God will grow stronger without the persecution of the world. I pray that on that day, we'll be ready to meet him and be ready to get home to paradise 🙏
    The Song;
You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep my faith will stand
And I will call upon Your Name
And keep my eyes above the waves
    When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now
So I will call upon Your Name
And keep my eyes above the waves
    When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine, oh
    And You are mine, oh
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
    Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Saviour

  • Hive Open Mic Week #211- BREATHE- A cover by @udygold.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=udygold/sdvbjnio
Greetings to everyone on this amazing platform. I am @Udygold and for week #211, I will be singing a song BREATHE originally sung by Min. Dunsin Oyekan.
This song pictures a perfect relationship between a father and a child.it equally proofs that a child cannot survive without a guide. A father’s word to a child is not just yard-stick for living but a tool to set his path right.
As Christians, we live, move and have our being with God as the center of our lives. It is therefore pertinent that for our survival in this world, we must rely on him for guidance and sustainability.
    Lyrics.
Father to child, Spirit to spirit
    Lighted by Your Word
And with Your breath of life
    That’s how I come alive
That’s how I change my world (Repeat)
    Refrain:
Just breathe Your Name upon me, breathe!
Just breathe Your Name upon me, breathe!
YOD-HAY-WAW-HAY (YHWH) is Your Name, breathe Lord
Just breathe Your Name upon me, breathe! (Repeat)
    (From the Top)
Just breathe your name upon me breathe
That’s all you need, that’s all you need
The breath of the Almighty makes the difference
    That’s how you come alive
That’s how you can change your world
    Breathe Breathe Breathe
    Lord breathe your name
    YOD-HAY-WAW-HAY (YHWH), breathe

  • Vibes Web3 Music Competition- week 9- Acover by @udygold.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=udygold/ranzwhak
Hello friends, I am @udygold. It’s week 9 of the vibe web3 Music competition and I’m thrilled to be part of it. For this week, I will be doing the cover of the song “As the Deer”.
We live in a world that God is our ultimate anchor, hope and perfect friend and without God, everything ends up being a total mirage.
For me, this song is a reassurance and promise that my heart will constantly yearn and desire God as a friend and as a present help in time of need.
I urge you therefore that as you listen to this song, it will not just entertain you but will help you to realign with the father.
    LYRICS;
As the deer pants for the waters
So my soul longeth after thee
You alone art my heart desire
And I long to worship you
You alone art my strength and shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone art my heart desire
And I long to worship you
You’re my friend and you are my brother
Even though you are a king
I love you more than any other
    So much more than anything

Greetings to everyone on this amazing platform. This is my first time taking part in this initiative and I hope you would appreciate my little input.
I sincerely appreciate @lordbutterfly for the tireless work put in every week to ensure that hiveans show up here happy and encouraged.
    Lyrics
While the world looks upon me
    As I struggle along
    They say I have nothing
    But they are so wrong
    In my heart, I'm rejoicing
How I wish they could see
    Thank you Lord
    For your blessings on me.
There's a roof up above me
I've a good place to sleep
    There's food on my table
    And shoes on my feet
You gave me your love Lord
    And a fine family
    Thank you Lord
    For your blessings on me.
    Although I'm not wealthy
And these clothes, they're not new
    I don't have much money
    But Lord, I have you
To me, that's all that matters
Though the world may not see
    Thank you Lord
    For your blessings on me.
There's a roof up above me
I've a good place to sleep
    There's food on my table
    And shoes on my feet
You gave me your love Lord
    And a fine family
    Thank you Lord
    For your blessings on me.

  • PRAISE AND WORSHIP WEEK #26 - THE VALUE OF MY LIFE.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=udygold/dhqcvvoh
Greeting s to every-one on this amazing platform, I am so thrilled to be taking part in this week praise and worship competition. It’s my first time here and I am certain that I won’t regret joining the minstrels here.
On seeing what this week prompt was “Value” I immediately remembered one of the songs originally sung by Minister Dunsin Oyekan with the title “At All Cost” this song embodies the essence of life as a Christian and as one living with eternity in view. Come to think of it, what is life without Christ at the center?
As Christians, it is expedient of us to live every second doing the fathers will for it is in him that we move and have our being. Thus, life without Jesus is nothing more than vanity. When the role is called up yonder, we will give an account as to the life we lived and in a world such as this, the only way we can impact our environs is carrying Christ on the inside.
Again, it is worthy of mention that our life is a book in which people read and learn everyday as such, our daily actions is nothing but a by-product of what we carry on our inside. May God help us!
I would love to share the Lyrics of the song with you maybe, you could sing along with me:
    The value of my life
    Is how much of you
    I carry
    The impact of my life
    Is how much of you
    I carry
I want you at all cost
    In your fullness
    And glory
I need you at all cost
    In your fullness
    And glory.
I would love to invite my amazing hive friends’ @ladivee, @promiseumah1 and @lhibee to take part in this amazing mission.
As an ending note, I would love to say that you create time to build what you Value. I therefore urge you to create time and build intimacy with God.
    I am @Udygold.
