Season 4 Episode 24. Host Michael Ryan interviews retired RCMP Cst. James Blackwood. At around 2 am on the night of October 26, 1978 he received a call that there was a UFO hovering over the bay in Clarenville, Newfoundland. When Blackwood drove down to the bay he couldn't believe what he was seeing. A large UFO hovering roughly 100 feet above the water. For the next two hours Cst. Blackwood and a few civilians watched the craft with binoculars and a telescope. Over the next two weeks Cst. Blackwood gave interviews on U.S., Canadian and British television and hundreds of newspaper interviews. During this interview Cst. Blackwood reveals for the first time that two U.S. Air Force personnel interviewed him about the incident one year later. They recored the interview and also took notes. His service to his country will be remembered for a long time. 32 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and another 30 years as the Mayor of Denare Beach, Saskatchewan.
