Shedding Light season 2 is a hard news podcast that addresses social issues. In this week's Pilot episode. The new anchor, Mohau Vuma interview Mzomvelo, a technician from season one and Sean McCabe the Executive producer about the challenges starting a hard news podcast. She also interviews Nobuhle Mathaba and Sean about the Rhodes Music Radio Repositions plan.

For the past three episodes the team has been focussing on the different problems in Makhanda, but all these problems have a common denominator- municipal failure. In episode four Kgaogelo Makgoba speaks to Amanda Nhlaki and the director of Makhanda’s Local Economic Development and Planning, Riana Meiring.

In episode five, Kgaogelo speaks to Sue Maclennan, editor of Grocotts Mail and Director of Local Economic Development and Planning, Riana Meiring, about the issues facing Makhanda Municipality and potential solutions for these issues which have led to the breakdown in Makhanda’s infrastructure.
