Being a black diamond. My people.
The long road. That we have traveled for freedom.
It All Began a long time ago. The winding roads.
The different distances that we have all traveled. Across the Across the sky. And we are still moving. From one place to the other. Sometimes. We travel with friends. Strangers. And most times we do it on our own.
When no one is looking.
And you're not able to see. Beyond who you are.
The color of your skin. You still can raise your hand. To be noticed. And be given a fair chance. The world is changing. It is important to love one another. The greatest. Is to be persistent. When you only have a few supporters,
Take each moment as it comes. It takes sometimes the strongest and sometimes, the even the weakest. To make it to the end. Of a difficult situation. We are all human beings. Some are destined. For greatness. And some Gonna have difficult times. In this troubled. But we are all great.
We are all important. We are Special.
We need to. That yearning. And that desire for victory. Against all. That may be happening around us.
Even if we have to walk alone, You can help. Others. And think about where you have been. And how long it has taken you to reach your ultimate goal. Even though there are more distance to go. You keep moving. You do not give up. The fight. No matter what the obstacles.
The Emancipation of. Was only a starting point. For my people. We work hard. For sometimes for the least amount of respect and pay. But in the highest level. We are like the stars in the sky. We are infinitely the most beautiful. The most blessed. And the most courageous. We are fun to be around.
We are exciting people. Sometimes, it's not always easy to smile and be positive.
But we try not to regret the past struggles. We developed that much needed resilience to pursue. And continue. To keep moving. When we are going through the poor situations. But we are sometimes the richest people in the world. Being a black person. We still do feel face discrimination. And sometimes a lack of acceptance.
Diamonds. Start as rocks in the ground. And over time, it becomes the most beautiful precious object. Being black or part of the global majority. Is is a privilege. And we should not lose who we are. And what we have become. We have achieved so many things in this world.
Through music dance. Our food. Through education troop politics through healthcare and true, social justice. Will still not be the ones who will be silenced but we know But that we will feel that we need to be silent. But I would say, keep reaching, keep shouting. Keep being open. And continue to rise.
And to love even more.
