Si and Mark were both struggling with illness bugs this week, so much so that we feared missing the pod all-together. Never content to allow that however, Gav and Si pulled themselves togther last minute to have a fairly deep chat about the state of this Steelers team after a woeful offensive performance vs the Pats on Sunday. I think a really entertaining and useful conversation came about as a result, with Gav and SI on opposite ends of the emotional spectrum as they so often are, a lot was hashed out in 120 minutes! We have made it - in our next episode we will finally have some regular season Steelers football to discuss. Before we do however, the gents need to lock in their annual predictions for how the season's storylines will play out. Good Morning Class! First an announcement - 'Summer Scouting with Mark & Ketts' is now our "Back 2 School" series. Mark and Ketts' bonus side project will enable them to engage with the world of college football, and most importantly, future NFL draft prospects, in a way that will only serve to feed the knowledge and inform the quality of our annual Steelers focused draft coverage after the NFL season concludes. It won't be weekly like the main show, but whenever the guys want to check in on college ball this special series will serve as a great way for them to do so - and for some of the rest of us to learn about the increasingly volatile college football landscape. Following Episode 1 where Professors Hanson and Hart, talked about the loaded QB class in 2027 - Ketts and Mark join you for 2 hours to break down the equally impressive list of non-QB's slated to light up Saturday football this season.
