A catch-up after only four and a half months?! The Alternative Awards were such a positive experience, which really incorporated all the alternative lifestyles within the categories, which really did show just how amazing the lifestyler's, kink, adult workers/ models are at properly organising /uniting. The more we can keep that going, the risk of its astounding progress being hindered will (hopefully) always be kept to a minimum. What's even more impressive is they've already started to take nominations for next year's awards.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing a naturist, you know who, as in Paul — someone who believes in embracing nature in a very natural way. You know, the kind of person who thinks “clothing optional” is just a bonus feature for life! We started this episode 7 weeks ago and finished it this evening; so buckle up or unbuckle and get the naked truth about what it is to be a naturist, and how it felt from Paul's phenomenological perspective, experiencing it as a child. 

Listen to how Paul discusses some fond childhood memories in this insightful and warm conversation from someone who grew up free to be completely naked in certain environments, to a person who grew up never being allowed that opportunity. 

We discussed why they prefer to go au naturel and the surprising benefits of letting it all hang out, like a carefree laundry day without the clothesline. Paul shared tales of sore bike rides and we talked about why stripping off clothes, isn't just about stripping of fabric, but more the fabric of where we've come from and what we have (and what we don't have). Where the only ‘outfit’ was sunscreen and confidence. Paul also talks about when he first started to become aware of his sexuality, and how he met his first wife! And believe it not, she caught his eye because she was wearing clothes! The absolute irony right.  


We discuss the clear boundaries between swingers and nudists, touch upon the amazing fetish awards and we touch upon a recent adult club night - where we ended up taking Paul's work-wife to (pleasures.)

Pleasures with the school girl night – listen to us discuss the principles of a theme night and how the main stream part of society – aka the vanilla world lost their mind when they found out people within the lifestyle like to take part in dress up/role play. We were forced to go vanilla for a bit but only by our own actions, so it's all cool. With our usual laid back chatter and giggling with plenty of possible Segway's, we managed to, (just about) to keep it on some sort of track. As always, it’s eloquently unprofessional manner shows through. 

With a very brief summery of the two adult lifestyle festival's that we attended last year, followed by the amazing outfits at swingathon that we both wore, that only a handful of people managed to see. Because of the sheer weight of Paul's helmet (of the outfit now, you dirty minded individual's hehe)  - he had to take it back to the tent after a mere 45 minutes out. We are though, pretty damn sure  it could have won if it was left on long enough to be appreciated. Last years Swingathon was somewhat kinkier than normal, so this year is going to be even bigger in regards to the whole kink community combining with the swinging community. With mere expression of individual impulse and feeling, frequently amatory, and pure lust; it really isn't going to be one to miss!  So having both Fetfest and Swingathon combined is going to make double the fun.

We even managed to have a little discussion on the current societal situation regarding gender identity diversity which appears to be shaking up the LGBTQ community. We very briefly touch upon an offer we had with a global swinging radio station for a weekly show, which was going to monetise the podcast through it,  but I was on the precipice of finishing my degree; so as always in life, the timing was impeccably incorrect.

For once we managed to get an episode out in a decent time frame; without the usual 9 month delay. 

 The degree is over - finally. Let’s hope I’m in good spirits the next episode as I could have failed, you just don’t know! The pressure is finally off and fingers crossed you can tell in char’s voice. A very long awaited, yet equally laid back episode. Festival's, orgies and cake. Well there was a song titled 'cake by the ocean', so why can't there be a podcast named 'cake by the orgies'. hehe. Its been 6 months since our last episode (which is pretty disappointing our behalf so apologies) Vanilla life at times gets in the way and sometimes its just enviably. With studying and employment effecting our enjoyment - we've just had our hands tied (and not in the way we like!) 

Focusing mainly upon the three festivals that we attended during the summer and considering it had been well over a year since we had done anything like that since the Covid lock downs happened last March. We 100% made the most out of it and even started our own Mexican wave orgy in the field at the first ever swingfon...

We're both so sorry for it being so damn long since doing an episode. With Paul working full time from home (which is making him work longer at times because his work is just there.)  Charlotte with her studies and juggling family responsibilities has been taking so much of her time, so being able to get the time and energy has been somewhat difficult.

With Covidageddon beginning to come to an end (fingers crossed the whole situation stays improving) we've decided to do an episode discussing some up and coming events, including The Festival of fun at the Vanilla Alternative and Swingathon in Lincolnshire.
