I talk about our response to the war in Ukraine, and about what ayurveda has to do with our responses. I am Ukrainian on my mother's side and Slovak on my fathers. It's tempting to see this current situation as a that-could-be-us situation, but it's important to remember that our world is full of war, terror, and refugees, all of whom are suffering in similar ways, but who receive a variety of welcomes based on racial and ethnic factors. As yogis, we are trying to realize that we are all one.
