However, there is one universal truth that all individuals will inevitably face: the appointment with death. Death is an inherent part of the human experience, and eventually, every individual will confront their own mortality.

When contemplating our lives, we can approach it in different ways. Some may perceive their lives as a collection of scattered and unrelated days, while others view each day as a vital component that contributes to a unified whole.

The analogy of building materials and a house can be helpful in understanding this concept. Just as a house requires careful planning and design, our lives can be seen as a construction process aimed at fulfilling a particular purpose or vision. Each day, then, represents an opportunity to contribute to the overall design we are building.

When you hear the words "you are invited!", your response may vary depending on the context and what the invitation entails. It's natural to consider the specifics before deciding how to respond. An invitation signifies that someone wants you to be a part of something, which can hold significant meaning.

An invitation carries several implications. Firstly, it shows that someone values your presence and wants to include you in a particular event, gathering, or occasion. It signifies that you are being thought of and that your participation is desired.

However, it's not uncommon to overlook an invitation and later regret not being a part of it. An invitation represents an opportunity to be included, will you overlook the most important invite?

Today, in the third week of our exploration into the second question, "Why are we here?", we will continue to delve into the understanding of our purpose. As we acknowledge that we originated from God, we gain insight into our inherent purpose.

Last week, we discovered that our purpose lies in being connected to the vine. This connection refers to our relationship with God, which enables us to bear fruit and fulfill our intended purpose.

However, it is important to recognize that there are factors that can threaten our joy and hinder us from fully living out God's design. Why are we here? This is the second question in our series, and finding the right answer to it holds the key to a fulfilling life. If we were intentionally created, it implies that we have a purpose. Consequently, if we have a purpose, then our origins are purposeful as well.
