Former football Tight End, then Offensive Lineman Michael Gurr joins A Study in Scarlet and Gray to chat about his time at OSU and how his experiences have shaped what he is doing now.

We have a candid conversation with Eric Davis. He is the former captain of the University of Houston Cougars "Phi Slamma Jamma" basketball team. We talk about a variety of his experiences (26 years as a Chicago Police Officer, and the inspiration for the television program "New York Undercover") which have led him to becoming the Executive Director of THE BASE, a youth academic and athletics enrichment program located in his hometown of Chicago.

We are joined by former All-State Wrestler from Clyde High School, Buckeye Football Captain and NFL Defensive Lineman Tim Anderson. After enjoying a career in the NFL, Tim has become a High School Social Studies Teacher and Wrestling Coach at Massillon Perry High School.

On the anniversary of the historic "Sugar" Ray Leonard vs. "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler bout, we thought we would travel back in time and take a look at one of the most anticipated events in the last forty years. Fought on April 6th, 1987, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Hagler enters at 62-2-2 and the WBC and IBF Middleweight Champion. Leonard had retired in 1982, unretired in 1984 and fought Kevin Howard, and retired again in 1984.

With the recent announcements of the new members to the Naismith Hall of Fame, Les and I decided to outline our criteria as to what constitutes a Hall of Famer.
