I was out and about with my husband and son. All of a sudden, this FUNKY groove came on the radio. I have NO idea who it's by. It was just an instrumental, so I can't acknowledge who did it. I was so CAPTIVATED that I just listened to the groove and sang along. I encourage ALL musicians to improvise and develop your musicality. It's CHALLENGING...silly, yet FUN!! It's ok to make mistakes. I drew some influences from Michael Jackson and other soulful singers...(think PYT 😊). My lyrics are about wanting to get to know someone on a deeper level. You know when someone just MESMERIZES you and you wanna know them so BADLY???😤😤 The scenario could be a friendship or a romance. Either way, that cat and mouse game has given me inspiration. A song can be a BIG idea or simple concept.

Relationships can be INCREDIBLY satisfying, right? 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 They can also be SUPER frustrating!! 😭😭💔💔This is because relationships need to be managed well, like anything in life. This requires a lot of trial and error and experience. After doing many a faux pas, GOD has shown me that learning how to set healthy boundaries is KEY in having successful relationships!!

If what is going on around us is dictating who we are, who we are will be dictated by what is going on around us. If you wanna hear from God and have peace, clarity and sanity in your life, you need to intentionally draw away from the noise and get closer to God. He is always speaking. Let me share some personal, in-depth experience in this area.

Be reassured that God defeated the devil when he was crucified. He died, went to hell and took the keys of life and death from the devil. He rose again victoriously. All we need to do is believe the gospel and trust in Him. He will give us a new spirit and give us the grace to live a godly life. Those who die in Christ will live forevermore in heaven. Their names will be written in the book of Life 🙌🙌🙌
