Jesus said that He will build his church.  Ministry is not about ability but about availability. Pastor Louis reminds us how God has given each of us spiritual gifts.  But these gifts are not for us, they are given so that we can be a blessing and encouragement to those around us.

Why does the church exist? Pastor Louis shares that the church exists because we are called to come together to worship God. 

But it is more than that. We come together to encourage one another as we grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus which then equips us to go out, sharing the good news to others that Jesus loves them and longs to have a relationship with them too. 

The living church is a church being transformed. It is about a vision worth living for that then impacts the world for Jesus. 

The Masters plan is a new series that looks at God's heart for the church. Throughout the next few weeks Pastor Louis will share how the church is a living entity filled with life, faith, hope and love.

What does unstoppable faith look like?  Now faith is sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Grace is unmerited favour. It is an undeserved gift that God gives to each of us. This gracious gift is real and tangible. Pastor Louis shares 3 key points about grace that makes us as Christians unstoppable.

We all face battles, but we don’t need to cave in from the pressure or allow fear to consume us. King Jehoshaphat faced a situation that seemed impossible. However, he sought the Lord wholeheartedly with prayer and praise.

Stephen reminds us that we too do not have to wait until the victory is won to give honor and praise to God. We should never underestimate what our God can do.

As UBC celebrates 116 years of ministry here in Ulverstone, Pastor Louis shares the importance in acknowledging our past. We should never forget where we have come from and to remember God’s faithfulness to us over the years. Our past is a foundation that our future continues to build upon. We should always remember the local church is a symbol of the presence of God here on earth as it shares the hope, we have in Him.

Unstoppable (Unable to be stopped or prevented from developing) is a new series of learning and applying God's word and His promises to our everyday lives.

This week, Pastor Louis' message is titled, "Tearing down the alters". Authentic Christianity is extremely powerful.  Christ has not called us to an easy life but an obedient one and our call is to be transformed rather than confirmed. What alters do you need to lay down to be what He has called you to be?

Are we in the end times? Pastor Louis shares the importance of being ready. He encourages us to remain true, to remain focussed and to keep pressing on. He also reminds us to remain faithful stewards and to remain alert.
