If we could be inspired to hope, dare, be risky and expect the unexpected. Our prayer is that in 2021 God will lead you to discover his presence in a more significant way. How important is prayer in times of stress and tragedy? Graeme shares how everyone experiences stress and tragedy, and how in these moments we can ask, why would God allow such things to happen?

He reminds us that God can give us peace in our circumstances and has the power to give us triumph in our tragedy. All we need to do is ask.  After all, the power of prayer doesn't depend on the one who makes the prayer, but the one who hears the prayer.

Is there any hope? Graeme shares how God can do more than we ask or imagine.  In the midst of all our struggles there is always hope when we realise we have a God who we can trust and in whom we put our hope.

Ken and Ralph both share how prayer is part of our life. It's communicating with God. It is not an "event."  It is a lifestyle. Prayer changes us.  What are you watchful for? And what are you thankful for?

As we say goodbye to 2020 and seek to anticipate a new year, Gods word provides everything that we need to live His purpose in 2021.

So, what can we take into 2021 and what can we leave behind? Why above all, do we need to remember our creator? Pastor Louis shares how it is easy to forget, it's easy to neglect and it's easy to regret.

Thank you for joining us in our Christmas Eve service -2020 the service theme was “the Saviour’s day”. In fact, every day is the Saviour’s day to all those who believe. But we must not hold it to ourselves. We must share this message, this great news—an invitation to know Jesus to receive Jesus personally.

The Saviour’s day is all about Jesus, in our mess, in our brokenness God made away. In our sin, rebellious ways God made away. We have the greatest message EVER. It must be shared, and it must be celebrated. Our prayer is you can celebrate as we do. May this day be your Saviour’s day an echo of your life transformed?

The challenge and responsibility to recognise the saviours day, a self-titled song from the Band, Rend Collective.

The Saviour’s day declares that Hope is alive. Love has arrived, and Joy has transpired. Each of these truths will do you good, my friend. May it be well with your soul friend.

The highlight here in this chapter is a focus on three areas that will aid us in understanding our battle, our responsibility as believers and followers of God and how to put on our new identity and new person and to put off the old nature.

To live life well we need to look to heaven (SEEK UPWARD), look to self (SEEK INWARD) by way of reflection, honestly and evaluation for growth and discipleship and Spiritual growth we need to always look to Christ (SEEK JESUS).

God bless you, as you put into practice what God is doing and working in you. I’m sure you will experience Gods life and presence, power flowing in your life.

Here a few thoughts to consider;

Keep your perspective Kingdom-focused.

Repent of anything that is not of Christ in your life. Any sin that has a hold on you.

Lean in – look to Jesus, draw on his presence and strength through each situation and for each day.

Welcome to  our study of the book of Colossians chapter TWO. In this week’s message, we continue to focus on what it means to follow Jesus,

It is my prayer; you will be greatly encouraged and challenged to recognise God is moving in our midst. He is with you, and He is with me, together we can see what the Lord can do through willing and open, available vessels.

Today's message looks to uncover our primary response to Jesus. Through Colossians, Paul was making doubly clear and in no uncertain terms, that Jesus is to be central. He is to be our focus, and He is to be our life.  And this reshaping Paul has in mind was to produce abundant life in and through us as believers. His promise to you!

Can I encourage you, will YOU lean in will you push through whatever limitations or barriers that are stopping you to live in the fullness of Life through Jesus Christ! As we unpack these few verses it is clear we observed;

Today's focus is on the supremacy of Christ, that Christ Jesus is our all in all. He is all-we need.

Consider the following;

1 SUFFICIENCY OF SALVATION

2 SUFFICIENCY OF NEW LIFE

3 SUFFICIENCY OF VICTORY

4 SUFFICIENCY OF POSITION

The wrong Christ always leads to weird Christianity… of course…

Is there evidence in your life that you are a believer? Someone once said, if all the facts, data and evidence was presented to a judge, would it be absolutely clear you are a follower of Jesus? I rest my case! I believe Paul was preparing the Colosse church to get ready for the next, for what God was about to do, in and through them! Let us be ready Church family!
