Last week we began the new season of the UMYLEAD podcast with part one of a conversation about how to do effective youth ministry during the coronavirus
Hi and welcome to the new season of the UMY Lead Podcast. My name is Russell Martin and I am so glad you are here.
As a youth leader does It seem like Covid-19 has changed everything we used to do, and all the ways we use to measure effectiveness?
I know that has been the case for me in my ministry, so on today’s podcast I wanted to take the opportunity to talk this through with some other leaders.
I’ve invited a few youth ministry friends, JT Larue, Lisa Gill and Mary Strickland to join me, and together we discuss and share our thoughts and ideas on how to do effective ministry amidst the coronavirus and quarantine.
In this podcast we talk about what’s working, what’s not working. We also ask what new things will we continue doing once we are through this time.. And what things have we found we don’t really need to do, or need to change.
Reminder this is only part one of the conversation. The second part will be posted next week. To make sure you know when the episode goes live I encourage you to subscribe to the UMY Lead Youtube channel, and on Podbean, and follow us on instagram, twitter and Facebook.

I have found the most important thing right now is that family discipleship time, and I’ve been encouraging families to lean into that right as much as possible. – Mary
