Kids can take the biggest hit in divorce because their lives are in someone else's control, leading to alienation, depression and broken relationships. In this episode, clinical psychologist Dr. Don Gordon, the designer of the Children In Between online program for children of divorce, talks about the ways to mitigate the impacts of divorce on children.

According to Dr. Don,  there's a lot of fear and anxiety about the unknown for children seeing their parents split. Parents need to be able to identify the triggers that create issues, particularly when children are asked to report on what the other parent is doing, or worse, when kids are given a steady diet of demonizing one parent over the other.
