Publisher's Summary:
We'd been planning it for months - a weekend getaway just for the ladies of Coffee and Cake, an online social group of women who had come to form a very strong bond over the years. Thirteen of us...that is, until one of us died on night one of our trip. Secrets are revealed, suspicions are leveled, and accusations are made.
Can an online group of women really be true friends, or is it all just a lie they have spent an age imagining? The murder of one of their own could tear it all apart, and for one member in particular, Babette Martin, her very freedom may depend on finding the real killer. A web of lies, far too many instances of turning a blind eye, and the arrogance of one woman could tear apart the entire group. Far more is at stake, and the very sanity of one member could be in peril.
Are online relationships the same or as good as real-life relationships, and can a group of women truly be friends? Babette is about to find out. She just has to survive the ordeal first.

Very elementary
I read the title story plus a few others. Then I gave up as they are really not well written at all. They are the kind of thing a first year secondary school student would turn in for a writing project.....and not a very good student at that.
Repetitive word usage in the same sentence shows a lack of vocabulary. Complete absence of punctuation makes the text hard to read. Information is thrown at the reader instead of being carefully distilled, letting the reader draw their own conclusion.
Shame, because I usually like to read a cozy mystery before going to bed. But I shan't be reading any more from this author.
What even is this?
This isn't a 500-page book. This is a set of 5-chapter novellas. I saw this nowhere in the description, or I wouldn't have bought this.
There was absolutely no development of any kind. No character development, no plot line development, no mystery. The main character DID nothing. She didn't deserve to be recognized for anything. She didn't investigate or solve anything.
Disappointed is not anywhere near an adequate word to describe how I feel after reading/listening to this book.
Great short read !
Great read :) The storyline had alot of great characters with a bunch of twist and turn's throughout the story that keep me reading :) Can't wait to see what the Author has up her sleeve next !
Enjouable book of short stories.
Ireally enjoyed Un-Friend which is a series of mostly inrelated short stories. Each story is well written although in some cases editing could have been better. In spite of that I found the short stories riveting enough to sit and read for hours at a time.
Just Long Enough
These stories were just long enough and then on to the next. The books don't use 15 of the 20 chapters building characters and location bly bly bly. I love the short story format of these stories. It works.
