Language matters. Sometimes we think things, maybe even say things that have a meaning we don’t assign intentionally. It’s just kinda how we grew up thinking and talking. This might be especially true if you grew up in church. In the new model that Jesus started, what we mean by certain words shifted. And not in a way that they mean less.
