As the one-year mark since October 7th approaches, we sat down with Yonatan Zeigen—father, social worker, and mediator. Yonatan is the son of the late Vivian Silver, a renowned Israeli peace advocate who dedicated her life to bridging the divide between Israelis and Palestinians. Tragically, Vivian was killed in the Hamas attack on Kibbutz Be'eri last year. In the aftermath of her death, Yonatan has continued her legacy, advocating for peace and justice with renewed purpose.

So much time has passed by and we’re still in the same horrible, indescribable situation. In this episode, Amira and Ibrahim talk about the hopelessness that even the Peace-building community can fall victim to. Even in these very dark times, and even when it seems impossible, we must continue to fight for the future. This time, we are honored to host Yisrael Piekrash - Chief Executive Officer - Anahnu Movement - a movement committed to solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with an unusual vision of the Two-State Solution. Yisrael, who was brought up in the Zionist-Religious community and established the movement, has concluded that Palestinian national rights are crucial for the future of Israel's existence.
