This was a question that Garland Vance pondered when his doctor told him that busyness was killing him. At first, Garland didn't take it seriously and wanted to prove his doctor wrong...only to find out the Doc knew what he was talking about. From then, Garland dedicated his doctoral research to discovering the impact of busyness and is no longer apologizing for killing busyness.
