  • In Sync w/ God

Be Mindful of your words. What you say to others, about others and yourself!

    Proverbs 18:20-21 AMP

“A man’s stomach will be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; He will be satisfied with the consequence of his words. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. [Matt 12:37]”

  • Appetite Change

Debated on naming this prayer more than enough, appetite change, or aroma check!

Because Jesus sacrifice was more than enough — if He did nothing else the cross was enough.

Appetite change stuck because it’s my hearts longing to have the mind, behavior, character of Christ requiring a death of appetite from what my flesh wants versus what Christ requires.

And lastly, aroma check is a gut punch that challenges us to not get before God with dirty hands and impure hearts. But to let the word (BIBLE) transform, wash, and make us pure / clean which produces a sweet, pleasing aroma to God.

Seeing Him as more than Provider but Holy, Sovereign, Righteous, Masterful, and the Perfect Executioner. He has so many names but the angels don’t get to call Him, Abba like we do.

  • Fan the flames 🔥

Prayer should never be about theatrical production or role play. But before opening our mouths - we should take a moment to pause and realize who we’re talking to. In doing this, what comes out next is sacred, real, authentic, and genuine!
