So… I got a puppy.

Or rather… my son got a puppy.
But let’s be honest… we all know how that goes.

In this episode, I share the very real, very expensive adventures of life with Nova… from chewed cords to “how did you even get that?” moments… and the gentle reminder that she’s just doing what puppies do.

Somewhere between the chaos, the laughter, and the “you’ve got to be kidding me”… I find myself reflecting on love… the kind that requires patience, presence, and a willingness to meet something exactly where it is.

Because maybe love really is the answer.
And maybe being fully, authentically you… is the signal.

The kind that calls your people in…
and reminds them they’re home.

Not every moment is polished. This one is a ride.

I talk about marriage… about loving someone who is your opposite… about being mad and then somehow being more mad that they’re mad too.

I own my delulu a little. Or a lot.

I talk about confidence as a decision… about being gifted, being worthy of reciprocity… about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

About being the muse… the anchor… the chaos… the magic.

And maybe… just maybe…
the “delusion” isn’t the problem.

Maybe it’s the spark.

In this episode, I get honest about something we don’t talk about enough… the quiet temptation of self-sabotage. The ways we almost pull back. Almost shrink. Almost undo the very thing we prayed for.

I share vulnerably about sales and dating, and how both reveal the same truth about worth, confidence, rejection, and resilience. What are you really selling? What are you really settling for? And where might you be negotiating against yourself?

I also want to offer a correction. The author I referenced is Alexa Ispas, and the correct titles of her books are Memorization for Actors and Self-Confidence for Actors.

This conversation is meant to encourage and inspire. To remind you that growth often sits on the other side of discomfort. That confidence is practiced, not granted. And that you do not have to sabotage the very life you’re trying to build.

Jacob & I got stuck an extra day in ATL during the whole TSA issue at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport- we might have even made the news! We were not going to duplicate the delay of the previous day, so our next attempt brought us to the airport 5 HOURS EARLY to ensure our safe return to our babies.... This is a quick little episode because I had TO TELL SOMEONE! What a RIDE! And NO COMPLAINT... in light of the other awful airport news that day- my condolences to the families of the pilots at LaGuardia and my heart extended to those who were injured and impacted by that harrowing experience.

Some of the best scenes and moments of inspiration are in the film, Braveheart. It's seriously one of my favorites. On the love side... on the war side... on the intentional side... I mean!!!! There's true love's kiss, betrayal, vengeance, friendship, excellent cinematography, sweeping music scores, heartbreak and heart ache and heart soaring moments... ALL. IN. ONE.

Here, I share some things that my brave heart recently did, recently decided, recently endeavored and I encourage you to be brave, too. Speak Your Truth. Become The Truth!

In this mini-episode, I reflect and connect words of one of the most famous plays to the names of God. There are differing ways people connect to God- in the names used to describe and identify… in the existence of different beliefs, theologies… etc.I talk about God as more than one thing… not limited… not boxed in… not just one expression, but ALL- masculine AND feminine. This morning, something magical happened... answered prayers happened and God, by any name, gets all the credit and GLORY!When love shows... in mysteriously perfect ways, it becomes impossible to dismiss. When MERCY shows up, you must pay attention!

This episode starts with wild hair and zero apologies. It is wash day… and I show up anyway. Fully me.

From there, I let my mind wander out loud. I question things I do not fully understand… like how the earth spins. And in that curiosity, I explore how belief is formed… even when it sounds a little wild.

I laugh. A lot. At myself… at the thoughts that pop in… at the randomness of it all.

And somewhere in the middle of all the laughter and questions… something deeper lands.

Love.

What is it really… how do we show it… how do we receive it… and why some people struggle to give what they were never shown.

Some people hurt others. Some become love because of what they lacked.

This is a wandering… a wondering… a real-time unfolding.

A return to something simple and true.

Love… real love… is still the answer.

In this episode I bounce through a few different thoughts and moments from life, but they all land in the same place: I am doing this imperfectly.

Every episode is proof of that!

There are people who do this better than I do. Better production. Better structure. Better polish. What I bring is something else. I bring vulnerability. I bring connection. I bring the ability to sit with people and be real. I am good at peopling. I am good at seeing people. I am good at encouraging people to step into what is theirs.

So here is my question for you. Does watching someone do something imperfectly make you realize you could do it too? Maybe even better. If that is the case, I want you to go for it. I want you to pursue what is yours. I will applaud you. I will encourage you. I will celebrate you doing the thing you know you are meant to do.

Sometimes seeing someone try is the permission we needed all along. So if this inspires you in any way, then it has done exactly what it was meant to do.
