  • Episode 2 The Purpose Of Sin

🔥 THE PURPOSE OF SIN | Why Do We Still Struggle?

Why does sin have a purpose in our lives when we fight against it every day?

In this episode of UNASHAMED – THE NARROW PATH, we dive into one of the most powerful moments in Peter’s life. Peter boldly told Jesus he would never abandon Him, yet Jesus knew that before the rooster crowed, Peter would deny Him three times.

    And Peter did.

His failure broke him. It humbled him. But it did not end his story.

Jesus already knew Peter would fall—and He still loved him, restored him, and used him.

That raises a powerful question: Can God use our struggles with sin to expose our weakness and show us how desperately we need Christ?

We are NOT saying sin is good or that we should willingly continue in it. We are called to repent, resist temptation, and pursue Christ. But sometimes our failures destroy our pride and remind us that we cannot save ourselves.

Addiction. Temptation. Anger. Lust. Pride. Fear. The battles may be different, but every one of us needs a Savior.

Jesus knew every sin we would commit before He went to the cross—and He went anyway. He shed His blood for our sins.

Grace isn't permission to stay in bondage. Grace is the reason to get back up and keep fighting.

Your struggle doesn't have to define you. Your addiction doesn't have to write your final chapter. Your worst failure doesn't put you beyond the reach of Jesus Christ.

Peter fell. Peter was broken. Peter was humbled. But Peter was restored.

Sometimes the failure that destroys our confidence in ourselves teaches us to place our confidence completely in Christ.

    We aren't glorifying sin.

We're glorifying the One who saves us from it.

If you've fallen, get back up.
    If you're struggling, keep fighting.
If you're ashamed, bring it to Christ.
If you're trapped, call upon Him.

  • Violence as a Christian! Justified or Not?

Violence as a Christian! Justified or Not?

What happens when men or women who have spent much of their lives surrounded by aggression, confrontation, strength, and violence decide to truly follow Christ? In this episode of Unashamed – The Narrow Path, my brother and I have a conversation that hits extremely close to home. Between the two of us, our backgrounds include serving as Marines, law enforcement officers, football players, powerlifters, and simply growing up through difficult experiences that taught us to be tough, stand our ground, and never back down. For years, those experiences shaped more than our bodies—they shaped our hearts. When you spend enough time around violence, conflict, anger, and people who may want to hurt you, hardness can begin to feel like strength. Aggression can feel like protection. Pride can feel like courage. And retaliation can feel justified. But then you encounter Christ.Jesus calls us to love our enemies, forgive those who wrong us, turn away from hatred, pursue peace, control our anger, and overcome evil with good. That sounds completely different from what the world often teaches a man he needs to be.So where is the line?Is violence ever justified for a Christian? What if someone attacks you? What if your family is in danger? Are Christians supposed to simply stand there and allow innocent people to be harmed? Is defending yourself the same thing as revenge? Can a man be capable of tremendous physical strength while still living with the humility, mercy, restraint, and love commanded by Christ? And perhaps the most difficult question of all: What is happening inside your heart when you choose to fight? This episode isn’t about pretending violence doesn’t exist. We have seen enough of it in our own lives to know that it does. Instead, we examine something deeper—the difference between protecting life and satisfying anger, between courage and pride, and between necessary defense and vengeance.Jesus did not call weak men to follow Him. He called men to surrender themselves to Him.Sometimes the greater display of strength isn’t proving that you can hurt someone. It is possessing the strength to do so and having the discipline, wisdom, and self-control to know when not to.We talk openly about how our past experiences molded us, how following Christ challenges the mentality we once carried, and how Scripture forces us to examine not only our actions but our motives. Can you be a protector and still love your enemies? Can you defend your family without allowing hatred into your heart? Can someone who has spent a lifetime becoming physically dangerous learn to become spiritually disciplined? And when confrontation becomes unavoidable, what should a follower of Christ do?This is a conversation about violence, self-defense, protecting your family, anger, forgiveness, masculinity, restraint, and what it truly means to follow Jesus when His commands collide with instincts developed over a lifetime. We don’t claim to have lived perfect lives. Far from it. But that is exactly why conversations like this matter. Our past may have hardened us.Christ is teaching us what strength was supposed to look like all along.Watch “Violence as a Christian! Justified or Not?” and join the conversation.Be unashamed. Walk the narrow path. Follow Christ.🔥 *Be UNASHAMED. • Episode 1 How Many Have It Wrong?

What does it really mean to follow Jesus? Is simply believing enough—or has the message of repentance, obedience, and a changed life been lost along the way?

In Episode 1 of Unashamed – The Narrow Path, we ask a difficult question: How many have it wrong?

We have an honest conversation about faith, sin, repentance, salvation, and what Scripture actually teaches about following Christ. Not tradition. Not popular opinion. Not what makes us comfortable—but what the Word says.

This isn't about claiming to be perfect. It's about examining ourselves, challenging what we've been taught, and asking whether our lives truly reflect the faith we profess.

The way is narrow. Are we truly walking it?

Welcome to Episode 1 of Unashamed – The Narrow Path.
