  • You Keep Saying You Want It… But Are You Making Room for It? | Creating Capacity for What’s Next

You’ve prayed for it. You’ve written the goal down. You keep saying you want something different.

But sis… have you actually made room for it?

In this episode of Unblocking Your Purpose, Certified Life & Success Coach Jada Hartfield closes out our September conversation about alignment, priorities, intentional living, and purpose by asking an important question:

Do you actually have the capacity for the thing you keep saying you want?

Because wanting something and having room for it are two different things.

We can pray for growth, ask God for new opportunities, set goals, and dream about what’s next while our lives are already operating at full capacity. And sometimes moving forward isn’t about adding another task to the calendar.

    Sometimes expansion begins with subtraction.

In this episode, we’re talking about:

    • The difference between desire and capacity • Why every “yes” needs somewhere to live • How a lack of capacity can turn exciting goals into another source of guilt • Why making room may require releasing something first • The difference between time capacity and emotional, mental, financial, relational, and spiritual capacity • How boundaries can help protect the space you’re creating • Preparing your life for the things you’ve been praying for • Taking one intentional step toward the woman you’re becoming

We’ll also revisit last week’s quick check-in and what it looked like for me to recognize that although I could push through, I didn't have the capacity to give a full episode what I wanted to give it.

Sometimes living in alignment means choosing less.

As we close September, I want you to consider:

If the thing you’ve been asking for showed up tomorrow, have you made room for it?

You don't have to overhaul your entire life this week.

Release one thing. Protect one block of time. Establish one boundary. Take one step that says:

“I’m preparing for where I’m going—not just maintaining where I’ve been.”

Don't just pray for what's next, sis. Start making room for it.

  • A Quick Check-In: Practicing What I Preach

This week on Unblocking Your Purpose looks a little different.

I had an entire episode planned about capacity, making room, and creating space for the things we're asking God to grow—but when it was time to record, I realized I needed to practice what I've been talking about.

Sometimes intentional living, healthy boundaries, rest, and alignment don't look like squeezing more into an already full schedule. Sometimes the aligned decision is recognizing that you could push through—but choosing not to operate from depletion.

So instead of a full episode, this is a quick, honest check-in about rest, purpose, priorities, capacity, and giving yourself permission to choose less.

And maybe that's the reminder you need this week, too.

Reflection question: Where might choosing less actually be the more aligned choice for me this week?

Next Monday, we'll continue our September conversation with an episode about creating capacity, making room for your goals and purpose, and preparing for the things you're asking God to grow.

  • Your Calendar Is Telling on You: Are Your Priorities Aligned With Your Time?

“Your calendar doesn’t have to be perfect—but it should tell a story you actually want to live.”

Your priorities aren’t only what you say matters. Eventually, they show up in how you spend your time.

Sis, we say our faith matters. Our family matters. Our marriage matters. Our health matters. Our purpose and dreams matter. And yes—we matter too.

But if you looked at how you spent the last seven days, would your calendar tell the same story?

In this episode of Unblocking Your Purpose, Certified Life & Success Coach Jada Hartfield is talking about priorities, intentional living, time management, and creating a life that actually aligns with what you value most.

This isn’t about becoming more productive, squeezing more into your day, or feeling guilty because your schedule is full. Busy seasons are real. Motherhood, work, caregiving, ministry, marriage, school schedules, and family responsibilities can legitimately require more from us.

This conversation is about alignment—not shame.

Your calendar isn't evidence that you're a good or bad woman. It's information.

In this episode, we’ll talk about:

    • Comparing what you say matters with where your time actually goes

    • Recognizing where you’re spending time by default instead of by decision

    • The “leftovers problem” that keeps women putting themselves, their health, prayer, purpose, and dreams last

    • Creating simple anchors instead of trying to build a perfect schedule

    • Protecting time for the things that matter without becoming rigid

    • Making room for the goals and dreams you keep saying you want

    • Building a life that reflects your faith, values, priorities, and purpose

You’ll also walk through a simple calendar reflection to help you identify what matters most in this season, where those priorities showed up during the last seven days, and one small block of time you can protect moving forward.

Because intentional living isn't about having a perfectly organized life.

It's about making sure the things you value aren't constantly crowded out by whatever screams the loudest.

  • Stop Waiting for Your Life to Feel Different | Faith, Intentional Living & Taking Action

Have you been praying for your life to change while waiting for the perfect circumstances to finally make your move?

Maybe you're waiting for your schedule to calm down. For someone else to change. For more money, more confidence, more clarity—or for God to give you a sign so obvious you can't possibly miss it.

But sis… what if part of the change you've been praying for begins with a choice that is already yours to make?

In this episode of Unblocking Your Purpose, we're kicking off September with a conversation about faith, personal responsibility, and intentionally participating in the life God has given you.

    We're talking about:

    • Recognizing what is—and isn't—within your control • Why trusting God doesn't mean becoming passive • The danger of making your next move dependent on someone else changing • How small, intentional choices can change the direction of your life • Asking God, “What is my part in this?” • Taking the next faithful step even when you can't control the outcome

We'll also look at James 1:22 and Proverbs 3:5–6 as reminders that faith isn't just about what we hear or believe—it's also reflected in how we respond.

You don't have to control everything to take responsibility for something.

    You don't need every answer.

And you don't have to wait until your entire life changes before you start making different choices.

Sometimes different begins with one decision.

  • You Don’t Have to Have It All Together to Move Forward | Faith, Purpose & Starting Again

Do you ever feel like you need to get your whole life together before you can finally move forward?

The routine needs to be perfect. The schedule needs to settle down. The kids need to get situated. You need more clarity, more confidence, or a better plan.

But sis… what if God isn’t asking you to have everything figured out? What if He’s simply asking you to take the next faithful step?

In this episode of Unblocking Your Purpose, we’re closing out August with a reminder for every woman who feels like she’s still adjusting, still figuring things out, or even a little behind.

    We’re talking about:

    • Giving yourself grace during seasons of transition • Why you don’t need the perfect routine to move forward • Learning to focus on the next faithful step instead of the entire plan • Recognizing progress that doesn’t show up on a checklist • Deciding what you want—and don’t want—to carry into September • Trusting God when you can’t see the entire path ahead

We’ll also reflect on Proverbs 16:9 and Psalm 119:105 and what they teach us about making plans while allowing God to direct our steps.

You do not need a flawless plan for September.

You don’t need to reinvent yourself.

And you certainly don’t need to have it all together.

You just need enough faith to take the next step.

  • The Woman You're Becoming | Let Go of Your Old Identity & Embrace Who God Created You to Be

    Sis…

When was the last time you stopped focusing on how far you still have to go and recognized how far you've already come?

We're often so focused on the next goal, the next accomplishment, or the next version of our lives that we overlook one of the most important parts of the journey:

Who we're becoming along the way.

In Episode 31 of Unblocking Your Purpose, we're closing out our Living On Purpose series with a conversation about identity, personal growth, faith, and giving yourself permission to outgrow old versions of yourself.

Maybe you're setting boundaries you couldn't set before. Maybe you're learning to rest without guilt. Maybe you're responding differently, trusting God more, speaking up for yourself, or finally recognizing patterns that once kept you stuck.

    Sis, that counts.

Not all growth can be measured by accomplishments.

Sometimes the greatest evidence of transformation is simply realizing:

I'm not the same woman anymore.

✨ In this episode, you'll discover:

    • How to recognize growth that doesn't show up on a checklist. • Why you're allowed to outgrow old versions of yourself. • How to navigate the discomfort that comes with personal growth. • What to do when other people don't understand the new you. • How your daily choices shape the woman you're becoming. • Why purpose isn't only about what God does through you—but also what He's doing in you.

    📖 Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)

"Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"

    This week, ask yourself:

    Who am I becoming?

Not just, "What am I accomplishing?"

Not, "How much am I producing?"

But who am I becoming as I walk with God through this season?

Sis, you don't have to despise the woman you used to be in order to celebrate the woman you're becoming.

Honor her. Learn from her. Thank God for bringing her through.

And then give yourself permission to keep growing.

  • When God Changes the Plan | How to Trust God Through Closed Doors, Detours & Disappointment

    Sis…

What do you do when you prayed, planned, prepared, and genuinely believed you were following God's direction—but life still didn't turn out the way you expected?

The job ends. The opportunity disappears. The relationship changes. The timeline gets interrupted. The door you prayed would open stays firmly closed.

And you're left wondering, "God…what happened?"

In Episode 30 of Unblocking Your Purpose, we're continuing our Living On Purpose series with an honest conversation about trusting God when He changes the plan.

A change in your plan does not necessarily mean a change in your purpose.

Sometimes God changes the route. Sometimes an assignment reaches its completion. Sometimes a closed door brings protection, preparation, or redirection. And sometimes we simply don't understand what God is doing yet.

This episode is for the woman learning how to trust God through uncertainty, disappointment, unexpected changes, and seasons that look nothing like she imagined.

✨ In this episode, you'll discover:

    • The difference between your plan and your purpose. • How to trust God when a door unexpectedly closes. • Why it's okay to grieve the plan you thought would happen. • How to recognize when an assignment or season may be complete. • Why you don't need the entire roadmap to take your next faithful step. • How to surrender your plans without giving up on your purpose.

    📖 Scripture: Proverbs 16:9 (NLT)

"We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps."

Sis, you can make plans. You can set goals. You can prepare wisely.

But leave room for God to redirect you.

Plan responsibly. Hold the plan loosely. Trust God completely.

Because a change in the plan does not mean a change in your purpose.

  • Steward What's Already in Your Hands | Stop Waiting for More & Start Using What God Gave You

    Sis…

Have you been asking God for more while overlooking what He's already placed in your hands?

More time. More money. More confidence. More resources. More followers. Another opportunity. A bigger platform.

Sometimes we become so focused on what we don't have that we miss what God has already entrusted to us.

In Episode 29 of Unblocking Your Purpose, we're continuing our Living On Purpose series with a conversation about biblical stewardship, recognizing your God-given gifts, and learning to faithfully use what you already have.

In Exodus 4, Moses was focused on all the reasons he didn't feel equipped for his assignment. But God redirected his attention with one simple question:

“What is that in your hand?”

Sis, maybe God is asking you the same thing.

Your purpose doesn't have to wait until your circumstances are perfect. What feels ordinary to you may be exactly what God wants to use.

✨ In this episode, you'll discover: • How focusing on what you lack can keep you from recognizing what you already have. • Why your natural gifts may be connected to your purpose. • What biblical stewardship looks like in everyday life. • Why faithfulness often comes before expansion. • How to stop waiting for perfect conditions and take your next step. • How to put what's in your hands into God's hands and trust Him with the outcome.

    📖 Scripture: Exodus 4:2 (NLT)

“Then the LORD asked him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ ‘A shepherd’s staff,’ Moses replied.”

    This week, ask yourself:

What has God already placed in my hands—and how can I faithfully use it?

You may not need more to begin.

You may simply need to recognize, steward, and use what God has already given you.

  • God Didn't Create You to Play Small | Finding Confidence, Embracing Your Calling & Living with Purpose

    Sis…

Have you ever looked at someone else's life and wondered if God could really use you the same way?

Maybe you've been comparing your journey, doubting your gifts, or waiting until you feel more qualified before stepping into what God has placed on your heart.

Here's the truth: God didn't create you to play small.

In Episode 28 of Unblocking Your Purpose, we're kicking off a brand-new series, Living On Purpose, by exploring what it means to stop shrinking back, embrace your God-given calling, and faithfully use the gifts He's already placed inside of you.

Whether you're raising children, building a career, serving your community, or pursuing a dream God has placed on your heart, your purpose matters—and God has equipped you for it.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • Why comparison keeps us from embracing our calling.

    • How to stop shrinking back and start walking in faith.

    • What Scripture teaches about your God-given purpose.

    • Why purpose is about faithfulness, not fame.

    • Practical encouragement to take your next step with confidence.

    Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

Sis, God isn't asking you to be someone else. He's inviting you to faithfully become the woman He created you to be.

    Scripture: Proverbs 16:3 (NLT)

"Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed."

You don't have to finish perfectly to finish faithfully.

God is still writing your story, and the best chapters may still be ahead.
