In this episode, you will hear the voice of an angry adult daughter. Nanci Lamborn came up in a musical and creative family. She struggled to hold childhood passions because there was a lot of trauma, anger, and shame. Nanci says that her box was anger that formed as a six-year-old and it began to define who she was. However, she now views her role as walking beside broken people, discipling them, and helping them realize God wants to set them free. A mentor helped her identify her anger, past relationships, and gentle forgiveness. She gives truths about their identities to use the word of God to walk in heart healing.

Nanci is a Christian Minister, Chaplain, speaker, and author. She helps others exchange lies for truth, bondage for freedom, and anger for joy. Nanci Lamborn knows all too well the pain of childhood trauma and dysfunction. Since her life-changing experience with heart healing prayer in her mid-forties, she has committed her life full time to leading others into the same level of freedom she enjoys today. Since 2016 Nanci has worked with well over two thousand clients using Biblically-based healing prayer methods. As an ordained Minister and licensed Chaplain, she guides hurting people through a deep exploration of the past and into the supernatural process of exchanging lies for truth and bondage for freedom with Jesus. Born and raised mostly in the Deep South, Nanci and her husband Rick now reside in Georgia with their dogs and backyard chickens. They are also loving parents and immensely proud grandparents. Angry Daughter is her first book.

The tradition of running a church distracts people from being a disciple. The dilemma is the tension between the true mission of the church and the business of running the church. Do we keep on doing partial discipleship that creates distractions to those outside of the church. Our first job is to invite people to meet Christ rather than continue with embedded non biblical traditions that shortchange what a disciple is. Listen to this episode and find out what Dennis Allen says about becoming a concierge, Christian.

Dennis is a CEO recruited by Wall Street firms to right struggling companies. His leadership and strategy career stems not only from his time in corporate America, but also roles in small, mid, and mega churches as an Elder, teacher, small group leader, and speaker. Dennis served as an Air Force fighter and instructor pilot in the USAF F-15 “Eagle” – all of which schooled him in his followership of Christ. Dennis has a BS in Industrial Management from the University of Alabama, an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and he’s an alumnus of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Early in life he became passionate about tennis, which helped him to become an entrepreneur at about 12 years old. At that time, he also realized he had a passion for coaching, seeing people’s eyes light up, improve, and grow. In terms of God, ourselves, and others, our why comes from God. Our identity is in Christ. He very succinctly talked about a time when he went through a “business divorce” by walking away, he stepped out of that box with inner resilience.

Kevin W. McCarthy is a former radio talk show host who thrives on free-flowing conversation. Kevin McCarthy is the creator of the website NPURPOSE.me where in minutes you can discover your life purpose is just 2 words. I subscribed and found my two-word purpose is setting free. He is a man on a mission to eradicate meaningless from the planet one person at a time. In other words, he wants to help you know your purpose in life. Kevin says, “If you’re truly disheartened, then you’re suffering from the absence of purpose and meaning.”

Pastor Purpose described a time when he had certainty in uncertainty because God let him use his psychological mind to keep helping people. Rev. Lamont Edwards AKA "Pastor Purpose" is a Virginia resident. He is passionate about higher education and preparing our children for the future. Some of his ministry gifts include creative arts ministries, such as spoken word and organizing open mic events and teaching hip-hop dance to young people. This includes helping them to explore their own creativity, as God has given it to them. He holds several leadership positions which involve curriculum development and the mobilization of youth achievement. He also founded the organization P.O.E.T., which is a creative arts ministry that stands for People Oughta Express Themselves. "Pastor Purpose" has most recently began working on the birth of a wellness education ministry. He plans to empower the community with a focus on the minds of American youth and future leaders. He is a preacher and teacher.

Carolyn Daly sojourns with us through her overseas travel and shares how her college studies were not at all the path to her current career in law. The passion in her youth for helping people is apparent as she serves her clients based on what they want to achieve rather than what everybody expects. She is passionate about practicing family law differently, helping people emerge on the other side whole. Always be a learner and a listener. What do you want? What do you want to do? Pause and appreciate.

Carolyn Daly is a New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney who prides herself on her pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to resolving family law matters in a manner that best serves her clients and their families. She handles “divorce without the drama.”

Carolyn is trained in collaborative divorce, divorce mediation, parent coordination, and arbitration and has significant experience handling divorce litigation, domestic violence, custody and parenting time, alimony, child support, college contribution, enforcement of settlement agreements, equitable distribution, and division of complex assets.

Prior to establishing her family law practice, Carolyn Daly gained experience in several different areas of law, giving her a unique perspective that allows her to identify issues that other family law practitioners often overlook. She is a frequent speaker and author on various family law topics and has been featured in numerous publications. I am happy to share that she is a volunteer attorney for the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project as well as Partners for Women and Justice.

Some awards include the New Jersey Super Lawyers List, for Family Law as well as the New Jersey Super Lawyers List, Top 50 Women Lawyers and Top 100 Lawyers.
