He is also a Mentor at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health supporting health-tech start-ups and early-stage companies to grow.
Conor is a former NHS leader who began his career as an Occupational Therapist working as a clinician and then NHS manager in London. Until 2018 he was CEO of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, and Redbridge Clinical Commissioning Groups where he led a series of major performance, quality, and financial turnaround initiatives locally and across London.
As the Chair of the North East London STP Transformation Board and Co-Chair of the London Urgent & Emergency Care Improvement Board, he led the development of a new system model of urgent and emergency care as one of the 8 national vanguards. He knows how the NHS works at the “sharp-end” and how systems operate.
