She formerly trained as an allergy, asthma, and immunology specialty NP and received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Virginia. She served as the Industry Chair for the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI) in 2019 and 2020. When she departed clinical practice in 2015, she did so with the intent of painting the medical landscape with a broader brush for the betterment of allergy patients throughout the US and Canada.
